G16 Godzilla 1985 by Designosaurus-Rex G16 Godzilla 1985 by Designosaurus-Rex
G16 Godzilla 1985. I have just watched this one, I don't seem to do anything in order as this is the last of the Heisei films I have watched and make, yet it's the first. Ho hum. I liked the giant sea lice they found on the boat at the beginning. They could have furthered a story or baddie that way, but nevermind. What do you think of the poster? Anything I should have added? I went with the Super X and the vocano they knock him into for the content and the image used on most posters for Godzilla's silhouette.

"Nature has a way sometimes of reminding man of just how small he is. She occasionally throws up the terrible offspring's of our pride and carelessness, to remind us of how puny we really are in the face of a tornado, and earthquake, or a Godzilla. The reckless ambitions of man are often dwarfed by their dangerous consequences. For now Godzilla, that strangely innocent and tragic monster, has gone to Earth. Whether he returns or not, or is never again seen by human eyes, the things he has taught us....remain."

Best Goji movie ever in my book, R.I.P. Raymond Burr.

They should've used Raymond Burr for more movies. He was pretty much the closest thing the entire series had to a main character besides Godzilla.

I love this piece! Very iconic, atmospheric and just plain cool. I love the use of the volcano and the SuperX. Well done!

Every time I saw that ending when I was little I would bawl my eyes out... probably still would.

Oh, so you have done this. It does work very nicely, and even Mt. Mihara made it.

The Volcano is the films big climax and is one of the best scenes in the entire franchise, IMO. I'd say it's more then appropriate. You could probably could get away with Godzilla and then just the Volcano, but Super-X helps break up the image.

You should've added the Russian Missile launcher

This poster is just perfect! I always loved Godzilla 1985, came out in the year I was born, watched it all the time when I was young...They don't have it out on DVD in the U.S. yet unfortunately so its been FOREVER since I got to watch it from beginning to end >_<

The fight scenes with the military and Super X were awesome and Godzilla himself looked so powerful and menacing, I also liked the bits they added for the American release with Raymond Burr...The final scene at the end with Godzilla and the volcano and Raymond's speech always makes me all emotional ):
